Description

TUKIR ceramic wool is a high-temperature innovative insulation and lining material.

General characteristics:

Ceramic fiber wool (insulation materials) is used for thermal insulation, infrared radiation reflection, heat treatment, and lining of industrial equipment, including:
  • furnaces and baking ovens;
  • boilers;
  • insulated pipes (main lines);
  • turbines;
  • tandoors;
  • sauna chimneys;
  • swimming pools (outer side);
  • automotive engine manifolds and exhaust pipes.

Sizes and properties of ceramic wool:

  • Roll length: 7 m
  • Width: 60 cm
  • Thickness: 25 cm and 15 cm
  • Custom mats can be made to required size upon request

Temperature characteristics:

  • Operating temperature depends on composition: up to +950 °C, up to +1350 °C
  • Maximum exposure temperature: +1427 °C

Technical properties:

  • Thermal conductivity (at 200 °C): 0.052 W/m·K
  • Linear shrinkage (after 24 hours at 1100 °C): 2%
  • High resistance to thermal shock
  • High mechanical strength and elasticity
Ceramic wool is easily cut with a utility knife and can be split to the desired thickness if necessary. When forming wool from ceramic fiber, perpendicular stitching of fibers with the same ceramic fiber occurs, which ensures:
  • mechanical strength;
  • elasticity;
  • maintenance of specified thickness and density.
Ceramic fiber wool has proven itself as an insulation material and as an effective material for reflecting infrared radiation, reflecting it 180°, as confirmed by relevant studies.
